Paired Parent
Messaging Oversight & Monitoring System
This is the parent app — the one that goes on your phone.
Android will warn you. Here is what it says and why.
This app is not from the Play Store, so Android asks permission before installing it. You will see something like “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.” That message appears for every app installed this way. It is not a judgement about this one.
- Tap the download above. Your browser may ask if you want to keep the file — you do.
- Open it. Android will offer a Settings button.
- Turn on Allow from this source, then press back.
- Tap Install.
Then what
Open the app and it walks you through setting up: notifications, locking the app, and what you are willing to share. It takes about a minute.
To connect your child's phone: power it on and connect it to your wifi. It shows a code on its screen. Tap Scan the code on the child phone in this app and point the camera at it. You are then asked to choose a PIN, which is what stops your child getting into the controls on their own phone.
The app on your child's phone is not installed from here. It arrives already set up, and it cannot be added to a phone already in use.
Nothing on this page collects anything about you. The app itself does nothing until it is paired with a phone you control.
